A key part of SAN’s work is raising awareness of the existence of sexual violence, and engaging our community in making change. Click here to find out more about our public education work and our current and past projects.

Document, educate and publicize
The purpose of the Sexual Assault Protocol is to document, educate and publicize the key organizations in the Ottawa community who are providing services for survivors/victims of sexual violence. It gives information on what services are offered by these organizations and how they can be accessed.
Calls to action, and speaking out
SAN would like to share what we are doing in the community with you. How are we challenging rape culture? What are we doing to raise awareness, and what can you do to make change?
A sexual assault prevention project
Project SoundCheck™ was launched in 2015 to address sexual assault and harassment at large events/festivals. It is a project that trains event volunteers and staff in bystander intervention.
